Pre-Christmas Blues

Christmas Star

Thanks to a combination of circumstances, I'm rebuilding my Kleeneze business from the ground up at what is, in this area at least, probably the worst time of the year to do so.

"But it's Christmas!" I hear you all say. "They all want to buy presents! How can this possibly be the worst time of year?"

Simple. My town has a couple of dedicated distributor teams who believe in recruiting locally at key times of the year. Christmas is one of them. Which means that certain areas get swamped with new distributors, and we all end up tripping over each other in the pre-Christmas rush.

Not surprisingly, a number of the new distributors won't stay the pace. Me? I'm in this forever. I spent yesterday reorganising a room so I can have a dedicated work space, not just for my Kleeneze work, but also my writing and music. Tonight I'm delivering orders, working on my 90 day plan and doing some self-coaching.

I may be starting again, it may be slower than I'd like, but I'm not stopping until I get where and what I want out of life.

Hope you all have a powerful day today.

My Kleeneze Website Rocks!

OK, so that's a provocative statement - after all, it's "just" a corporate microsite, customised to my Kleeneze business details.

It's so much more than that.

All active distributors get one of these websites - nicely designed with clean pages, and all the relevant information is there in front of you:

You get a chance to look at our introduction to the Kleeneze business opportunity video:

You can browse our catalogues.

You can visit our shop:

But it's what we distributors can do behind the scenes that makes my Kleeneze website rock. We have contact management tools for both customers and prospective team members. We can personalise our introduction text. We can decide where we want to build our Kleeneze retail business - anything from a 5 mile radius:

to a 40 mile radius!:

The tools provided for us by Kleeneze just keep getting better! When I was in a previous network marketing business, I had to pay £40 per month for this sort of website. Kleeneze provide this service at a fraction of that price - just one more reason to join our team!

Back On Track

After an abysmal month last month, caused by my trying to do too much with too little time and resources, I've gone back to basics.

As a result, my retail is back on track with a 10% bonus just a few points away. 25% of my warm market has been contacted directly and pointed at my Kleeneze website and the new Kleeneze online shopping experience; the rest are being contacted by email or via my Facebook and Twitter accounts. Thanks to a nudge in the right direction from my day job (see this for details) I'm well and truly focused on running my Kleeneze business.

The sooner I can resign from the day job and focus on my Kleeneze team, the happier I'm going to be.

Earning Extra Income in Warwick

I'm currently expanding my team of distributors in the Warwick area. I'm looking for 5 hard working, enthusiastic people who want to earn £50-£250 per week part time, or £10,000-£50,000 per annum full time.

I'm looking for two different types of people:

Firstly, those who wish to earn money by delivering and collecting our home shopping catalogues, either on a part or full time basis. This can typically earn you between £50-£250 per week.

Secondly, those who want to be team leaders, building their own team of distributors. This can typically earn you between £10,000 - £50,000 per annum, again on a part or full time basis.

Would the thought of that much extra income persuade you to call me? Fill in your contact details on my website, and I'll call you back.

Reflect, Revise, Refocus - The 3 Rs of Kleeneze

Last night was not a good night, orders-wise. My normal per-catalogue order value is around £1; in other words, if I collect 184 catalogues in, I usually get between £180 and £200 of orders.

Last night, my per-catalogue order value was £0.10. That's right. 10p. I got a grand total of £11 of orders, despite collecting in over 100 catalogues in just over an hour.

So what happened?

As I've said before, I'm currently competing with several full-time distributors who cover my local area. The books I put out over the weekend appear to have clashed with a blanket drop from one of them. It's quite possible I will get a low volume of orders tonight as well.

By now, you won't be surprised to find that I'm not in the least bit disheartened by this.

I now have the opportunity to practice the 3 Rs of Kleeneze Retail.

Reflect

Is what I'm doing effective? Could I be doing it better, or differently? What are my options?

Yes, what I am doing is effective. The two orders I got were from customers that were new last time, so I can deduce that they were sufficiently satisfied with my service to order from me again. I have a number of options to avoid clashing with another distributor's delivery timetable, including noting these clashes and delivering the next set of catalogues when I deliver my orders to this area.

Revise

What do I need to change to improve my results? How will I implement the changes? Over what timescale?

I need to determine areas which are not currently served by a Kleeneze distributor. I already have some success here; I can widen my delivery area until I discover sufficient regular customers to satisfy my retail targets. I will target a new set of roads with my next delivery of catalogues. I can also rejig my delivery schedule so that I target a new street every week as part of my regular routine. I will monitor and track results for this activity for the next 90 days.

Refocus

Why am I doing this? What are my goals? What are my targets?

I'm a Kleeneze distributor because it gives me the opportunity to be financially secure both now and for the rest of my life. I have both short-term and long-term personal and professional goals, from new cars to becoming a Premier distributor in 5 years time. My targets include moving up the volume bonus levels through my own personal sales, growing a team of active distributors who are retailing £1000 per 4 week period and achieving 1000 regular customers.

That's all it takes. If you use the 3 Rs, you get out of the pity-me mindset and into the mastery mindset. I know which one I'm more comfortable with.

If you want a better life, let alone a better lifestyle, let me know. I'll support and coach you every step of the way.

Christmas Comes Early for the Kleeneze Lady - Online Catalogues!

Running my Kleeneze business just gets easier - we now have online catalogues on our own mykleeneze.com websites. Hop over and take a look - what a Christmas present for all of us distributors.

I can't wait to let everybody know!

Thanks to all at Kleeneze HQ for making this happen. Merry Christmas to all of you. Here's to a Wonderful New Year.

Kleeneze Works, Even When You're Ill

For the past 3 weeks, I've struggled to keep going. I admit it. No matter how buoyant a distributor's personality, there are times when you have to run as fast as you can just to stay still.

In my case, as with many others at this time of the year, my family got knobbled by the seasonal flu that's doing the rounds. So I spent 2 weeks trying to cope with a full time job, a 90 minute round-trip commute and my Kleeneze retail targets, as well as ensuring that my sons were being looked after to the best of my abilities. Building a team was not on my list of priorities. Surviving each day was.

Just as they started getting better (this year's flu seems to hit people with a week of the usual symptoms followed by two weeks of bronchial problems), I got the darned bug myself. For four days, I struggled in to the day job, dreading every minute of that 45 minute each way trip. On the first day, my youngest son got clipped by a car on his bike ride back from school. He was extremely lucky and got away with scrapes and bruises; he walked his bike home before the shock set in. I took a day's holiday to keep an eye on him; I'm not sure who ached the most. By day 5, I'd got to the point where I crawled out of bed, phoned in sick and crawled right back again. It's now day 13 and although I no longer feel like death warmed up, the bronchial phase has led to my office manager suggesting I go home sick again.

So what has this to do with Kleeneze working for you?

Simply this: both I and my youngest son followed the same basic principles - to only commit to what we knew we could deliver, to do what we said we'd do when we said we'd do it, and to revise our planned activity to suit the new circumstances.

I delivered ordered goods, put out far fewer catalogues than normal, but ensured I got my 10% bonus volume by week 3 of the period, as per my goals.

My youngest son, despite the flu and his injuries, turned up to do his paper round every morning, regardless of how ill he felt, because he knew the newsagent was short-staffed. I'm so very, very proud of him.

The great thing about a good network marketing company is that, if you are diligent and consistent, results happen when you least expect it. I currently have a dozen people to contact with more information about building their own Kleeneze business, many of whom came in directly via my Kleeneze website, all due to the effort I put in before the seasonal flu took hold. I'll be talking to them over the next few days, sending further information and discussing their joining my team. 2010 was good - 2011 is going to be even better.

Base Camp - Living in the Foothills of Success

Building a successful business is often likened to climbing a very steep mountain. Both require foresight, advance planning and a continual review of both the goals and the best route to those goals.

My progress with my Kleeneze business is a case in point. Like most people who need an extra income, I had very specific short-term goals, including paying bills, replacing my cooker and fixing up my house and garden. Luckily, I wasn't in the position of having to survive on my retail profits, which meant I could happily invest those profits back into my business and thus generate more sales.

Last month, I got my first certificate of income. As a Kleeneze distributor, you get these once you reach your 10% bonus level; they're a physical reminder of the level you've reached. I've never been so happy to see a picture of a cheque in my life!

This month, I consolidated my position and hit my 10% level in the third week. From now on, it's my target to achieve the 10% level by no later than the third week in every period.

Running my Kleeneze business is remarkably simple; it just requires a little discipline at times. I know there are cars and holidays as major incentives, but for me, a regular incentive is to improve on last month's Kleeneze bonus cheque.

If you would like to join my team, or want more information about Kleeneze as a business opportunity, enter your details on my Kleeneze page and I'll get in touch as soon as possible.
